Citizen Volunteers (CVs)
The Citizen Volunteers were established in 1991 and are based on the concept of a highly visible, uniformed, unarmed, “eyes and ears” volunteer group of community members who assist the Police Department in making Redlands a safer place. The CV participates in non-hazardous functions, including street patrol, traffic control, park rangers, special events, and administrative duties. The CV relies totally on donations from people and businesses through the “365 Club” and other categories listed above to provide their 70+ members with vehicles and equipment.
